第二届“新东方杯”英语口语大赛(微博)全国总决赛于2012年4月8日至11日在北京隆重举行。本次大赛以就业为主题，吸引了全国高校上万名学生报名参赛。“新东方杯”英语口语大赛针对全国大学生英语沟通应用能力，以开拓当代大学生国际视野，提升大学生跨文化交际素养，增强大学生职场竞争力为使命。以下为第二届新东方(微博)口语大赛华中赛区选手鲁尧的简历。

　　我为能够参加这次比赛并能走到今天感到非常的幸运，因为这场比赛带给我了太多超乎想象的东西。用一句我很喜欢的电影台词来说：如果你不走出去，你会以为这就是世界。是这样一个平台让我看到原来还有许多才华横溢又富有激情的的朋友们同样热爱英语。也是因为这个比赛，我感受到了许多默默地支持与鼓励，无论你走到哪里，朋友都会在你身边。当然，还有更多的期待，期待着不断地学习与进步，期待与你们在北京相见！

And now, I have a more profound understanding about this line: If you don’t walk out, you will think this is the world。” It is this platform that enables me to make friends with so many talented and passionate people who also love English. Because of this competition, I have realized that wherever you go  ,friends will always be your side.
